I took what I learned from my extensive research and seamlessly incorporated it into my detailed sketches. Starting with The Great Gatsby, I envisioned a cover design that centered around the profound mystery surrounding Gatsby and the intricacies of the narrative itself. I decided that a singular martini glass would effectively convey enough about the story's essence while simultaneously evoking curiosity about the unfolding mystery. For A Hundred Years of Solitude, I chose to depict a house prominently at the bottom of the cover; although it isn't the focal point of the story, it remains an essential element, symbolizing the enduring presence of family and home. The falling leaves serve to illustrate the theme that everything in life exists within a natural cycle. Lastly, for Brave New World, the narrative revolves around generations of genetically altered individuals, each assigned specific skills and societal positions. I aimed to portray a world devoid of borders, emphasizing the sameness of our planet where people are born into a system of slavery. The main character stands out as a defective individual, the only one capable of seeing through the deceptions perpetuated by the World State regime.
