coffee day social post

I thoughtfully crafted this engaging and captivating National Coffee Day post specifically for an assignment at Texas State Technical College, in Waco, Texas.

sketch

The client wanted a fun and energetic social media post aimed at driving engagement and promoting interactions among their audience. To achieve this goal, I began sketching out a few simple yet charming characters that are related to coffee in some creative way. One character I envisioned was a coffee jar, a second was a carafe, and the last was a delightful coffee bean. Ultimately, I decided to move forward with the coffee jar character, as it seemed to resonate most with the intended message.

Final Thoughts

And Design

This project made me consistently keep in mind the various limitations and constraints posed by social media posts, as well as the importance of how to utilize the available space efficiently and effectively. I would say that the most crucial function of a social media post is to immediately grab the eye of whoever is scrolling past it, thereby leading to organic engagement and encouraging meaningful interaction with the content. I had an enjoyable time with this project in particular because it provided me with the opportunity to try an art style that I normally don’t engage with, allowing me to push the limits of my creativity and explore new avenues of artistic expression.
